MY GREAT GRANDFATHER’S LINE EXTENDS TO TWO OF THE ORIGINAL LOST COLONISTS AND TWO HATTERAS COLONISTS.

5.  Please provide a brief writeup (2 paragraphs to one page in length) on your line that has DNA tested!  MY GREAT GRANDFATHER ‘S DNA WAS TESTED BY ASKING MY FIRST COUSIN, HIS GRANDSON, TO GIVE A DNA SAMPLE.  IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE DNA LINE IS L1a. THIS MEANS THAT OUR ANCESTORS WERE GEMANIC STOCK WHO MIGRATED TO ENGLAND THEN TO AMERICA WHERE THEY CO-HABITATED WITH AMERICAN INDIANS AND AFRICANS.

We are working to be sure that everyone who should be included in the Lost Colony, is in fact included, and that folks who don’t have a potential link to the colonists have the opportunity to join a project more suited to their needs.
