ANDREW CAME FROM VIRGINIA INTO NORTH CAROLINA TRAVELING ON THE NEUSE RIVER SOMETIME AFTER 1700. HE BUILT HIS PLANTATION ON WHERE IS NOW KNOWN AS CHERRY POINT MILITARY BASE. HE LEFT IN HIS WILL THE PLANTATION TO HIS SON JOHN, WHO SOLD AND MOVED TO ONSLOW COUNTY, NC.
