Edwards of Johnson County and State of Missouri disposing of the worldly goods with which God has blessed me, do make and puplish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and testaments by me made. In the first place I will that all my just debts be paid next I give and bequeath to my wife Frances Elizabeth Edwards the sum of one dollar also my daughter Cynthia Ann Cox the sum of one dollar also Abraham Cox son of my daughter Lucinda Cox deceased the sum of one dollar also Adelia Jane Cox my daughter the sum of one dollar also William Robert Edwards my son the sum of one dollar also my daughter Susan Mary Jeffers the sum of one dollar also my daughter Martha Ann Edwards the sum of one dollar also my sister Lousia Hayes my wagon and two mares also all the notes and money that I may be possessed of at the time of my decease. I also appoint Henry J. Adams executor of this my last will and testament. given under my hand and seal this the 12th day of September AD 1871. Declared and published by Horatio N. Skidmore on letters of administration in the estate of Henry Edwards deceased. States that to the best of his knowledge and belief that said deceased died without a will and that he left the following named heirs towit ,Mary Edwards widow of said deceased who has since died, and Horatio Edwards, Pendleton Edwards, Meriday Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards, Louisa Edwards, Emily Edwards children and heirs of the said deceased and all residents of the County of Johnson except the said Pendelton who is at this time in Texas, and that he will make a perfect inventory of and forthfully administor all assets of the deceased and pay the debts as far as the assets will extend and the land direct and accont for and pay all debts which shall come to his knowledge.
