KING...BASSETT
I am looking for information on my gggrandparents and some of their children from Fayette City. Their names were Charles (b. 1833) and Sarah KING (b. 1836). According to the census they were "saloon keepers". I am seeking Sarah's maiden name as well as a verification of birthplaces for both. The 1860 and 1880 census show their birthplace as Ohio, but the 1870 census shows New York and Michigan respectively. Their childrens names were Morgan BASSETT (Sarah's son by a previous marriage), Norah, Charles (my ggrandfather), Hattie, Stewart and Clara. My ggrandfather moved to Ohio and married Kate MOHR and then moved on to California after Kate's death in 1917 to join his sisters Hattie and Clara. They all lived there until their deaths. I am seeking any information on the 3 remaining children, Morgan, Norah and Stewart. Thanks! Denise

HENRY...BEASLEY
John Henry HENRY was my gg grandfather. My records show my g grandfather (James Clark HENRY) was born in Howard County, MO in 1846. My gg grandfather must have moved to Tennessee, for his next to last child was born there (in TN ), then his last child was born in TX. Moved around a lot didn't he. Now then, for the query, where was John William HENRY and Jerusha BEASLEY married. Where they married in Howard County or else where?

WALLACE...SNODDY
My family the member Jacob WALLACE came to Mo from Madison Ky in when he was young. He was born in 1909 im Madison Ky. I don't know parent or siblings so I am trying to research some WALLACE families that came to Mo maybe in the 1820's. There is a Samuel WALLACE that came to Mo. from Ky in the 1820's and he was born in Va in 1771. He married Anna SNODDY in Ky. The history I have states that there were 5 boys and 5 girls in the family. One of the boys name is S.F. WALLACE. Also another piece I found in a history book said that Samuel WALLACE donated 25 acres of his land for the Fayette county seat along with a few other men. I was wondering if my Jacob WALLACE could have been one of Samuel's children. Samuel's father was Andrew WALLACE and his father was Samuel WALLACE. Any one researching WALLACEs in Cooper or Howard county I would like to hear from since I am trying to find my line and don't know where he came in.

TODD...CROFT...HOOKS
I am a descendant of Peter TODD who married Mary CROFT 18Feb1847 in Howard CO. MO. Peter TODD was born in Missouri. I would like to know who his parents were. It has been suggested to me that they maybe Nathan TODD and Easter HOOKS who were married on 16 Dec 1806 in Madison CO KY. The 1850 census lists Jesse TODD in the middle between Easter TODD on one side and Peter TODD on the other side of him. Could anyone give me any information on this TODD family? Thank You. Joann.

BROCK
BROCK - 1824 thru 1930 in Howard Co., Missouri. I am looking for any information, Probate Records, Deeds, etc., on a Henry BROCK for the time period of 1824 to 1830. Wife's name was Catherine. I have him in Kentucky prior to 1824 and have his wife and kids in Clay Co, Missouri in the 1930 U. S. Census. I thought since Clay Co., was part of Howard County prior to 1830 he might have left a record there. Any help given will be appreicated. Thanks joe

WOODS...CRIGLER
I'm trying to determine if William L. WOODS (b.1839-d.1896) and Sallie J. CRIGLER had any children. They were married in Howard County 2-17-1859 and, at least William, died in Howard County. Specifically I'm looking for a Lee Roy (b. 1878) who was my grandfather. Lee Roy evidently had a sister named Rachael. Thanks.

WARE...FISHER
John Lindsay WARE (b. Feb 1859) in Missouri married Mollie FISHER (b. Dec 1862) in Missouri on 08 Mar 1893 in Howard County, Missouri 1870 Missouri Census, Prairie Township, Howard County, Post office - Fayette, Missouri lists a John L, age 11, as the son of James and Mildred WARE. This is the same area as his is living in 1900, it is the only family with the WARE name that has a son named John L., and his age agrees with other documents. But we don't know for sure if this John age 11 is our John L. WARE. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

SHADRICK...HALL
Am seeking info on my great grandfather and mother. Frank SHADRICK married Fannie P. HALL in Howard Co. May 8, 1880. They had one daughter, Arminta. Fannie died 3/4 yrs. later. Would like to find the parents/relatives of either. I think Frank SHADRICK moved to Texas and died there 15 or so years later. My father knew very little about his family so I don't have much to go on. I don't even know if/how long they were residents of Howard Co... Sincerely Loma Campbell
