RAWLINGS...COATS...CRAIG...HOLLADAY
I was born in Howard Co. and reared in Moberly, MO. I am going to visit the Fayette Library, etc after the 4th of July. I am trying to get definite proof (for DAR) that Nancy Jane Coats nee Rawlings is the daughter of John W. Rawlins. He apparently did not leave a will and his administration and bond papers are no help. Hardin Coats and Nancy Jane were my gg grandparents. Hardin's daughter Mildred E. Coats was my grandfather Luther Craig's mother. I need only this connection to prove my lineage thru Nancy to Patriot Benjamin Holladay, Sr. If anyone can give me any tips I would be thrilled, as I have exhausted all of my ideas as to where to search, although I have not looked for deeds yet.
