I am searching for my Harrison County, MO. family. My NEVILL family arrived in Harrison County around 1850. I am not sure when my BROOKS family arrived. I come down from the James NEVILL/Lilly Ann BROOKS line with my grt-grt grandparents being Lorana "Bea" BROOKS NEVILL and Berry BAKER. I know a bit about the NEVILL/BROOKS lines but can find nothing on the BAKER line. I believe Berry and Lorana met and married here in Harrison County, but the BAKER Family is still hiding and I could really use some help on this one. I do know that there is a family line with the surname BERRY in a few of the neighboring counties and maybe that family connects to my Berry BAKER. My family left for Jewell County, KS. before 1876 and then off to Sweetwater, OK. before 1897 and then they settled in Baca County, Colorado in 1915. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you! I have a pix from old family pixs that has Virgil TUCKER and sisters. Also in the pix are Hull and George COLE. I would like to know how these COLES are related to the TUCKERS. Thomas A. and Sarah TUCKER were in Harrison Co. from about 1889 to early 1900. It's stated in ledger that they arrived Nov 12th, 1889 and moved into Katherine PARKER'S house the 15th of Nov. Also, pix of George COLE that says he was on property where his old home once stood. There is a pix of school children of 1903, doesn't say which school, must have been near Ridgeway or Bethany. It's very faded but would e-mail copy if someone wants one and would like to know name of the school if anyone knows which one it is. There is also a family of DUNCANS with some of the COLES.
