Gillespie Cemetery is located in section 28 of Grant Township in Harrison County and is approximately five miles south of Ridgeway. Tradition says that Mr Gillespie would not let a new road be built through this portion of his property while he was alive, and requested to be buried here to prevent the road being built in the future. A road was later built, but is just east of the burial plots. The road is now blacktop T. The graves were later moved to the Ridgeway Cemetery.
