Date of the Funeral Services.
Tuesday May 16, 1974.
Funeral services for Cecil A. Rogers, Cardwell, will be
conducted at 1 p.m. at Monette Arkansas, with Herbert
Knight offictating. Burial will be at the Cardwell Cemetery
in Dunklin County Missouri, with Gregg Funeral Home
of Jonesboro Arkansas in charge of arrangments.
The late son of John B. and Lydia Rogers, he was born Jan
25, 1893 in Batesville Arkansas. He was a veteran of
World War 1, and a member of the Samuel T.. Adams Post No
86 in Kennett Missouri..
In 1939 he was married to Corene Lewis who survives. Mr
Rogers died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in
Poplar Bluff Missouri. He is 81.
Other survivors include four sons, two daughters, two
brothers and two sisters, also several grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
Paullbears will be Elgus Vaughn, Gilbert Brewer, Jess
Foster, Chester Permann, Dolph Riggs and Armon
Harrison.
