Services for Mrs. Arch Taylor

Mrs. Arch Taylor died last tuesday at Marble Hill.
Mrs. Arch Taylor 81 yeas old died Tuesday moring of the last
week at the
home of her son Robert B. Taylor in Marble Hill.
Mrs. Taylor
suffered a
stroke Friday and her condidtion had been critical since
then.
She had
been in failing health for some time and had recently been moved
to her
son's home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services were held at
Hornersville,
home of Mrs. Taylor, last Thursday afternoon, with interment
there.
Mrs. Taylor, who was Miss Fannie Chostner before her marriage to
the
late Rev. A.R. Taylor, a Methodist minister, was born March 22,
1861,
and was reared near Scopus, a daughter of James and Mary Jane
Chostner.
After her marriage the family .lived for a time at Lowndes in
Wayne
County. In 1910 the family move to Hornersville, where she had
sinces
resided.
She is survived by one son, Robert of Marble Hill, who until a
few
months ago was a resident of Greenville, a daughter, Mrs. J.O.
Mathews
of Hornerswille, 12 grand children and 4 great-grand children.
Four
children preceded her in death.
NOTE:
Archibald had a brother William and they were born in Phill,
P.A.
Archibald was born 12/1851 Archibald brother william was born
1853.
Their parents were from Ireland. They were painters until My
great
grandfather became a minister in 1879
