ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The third generation (grandchildren) are known there is
extensive info
available on John G. JENKINS line and Emma E (JENKINS) POLLOCK
-BULLA, less on the others. Joseph G. JENKINS and his wife
Minerva
(McCORKLE) apparently immigrated to Dunklin County in the
1870s
and died there. There are no land records, so they may never
have had
property, although John G. JENKINS did practice as a blacksmith
apparently in the old Four Mile Community, Union Township,
Dunklin
County.
Their children are less researched but appear to have stayed
in the
area for a time, except for (my ancestor) John G. JENKINS and
his
sister Emma. Emma raised John G. JENKINS orphaned children
after 1900 (they were apparently given up by their mother Anne
(CAMPBELL). These were my grandfather Grover Cleveland
JENKINS,
Sr, and his sister Johnnie Vida (JENKINS) REEVES.
