MILITARY SERVICE: 15th Regt Kentucky Cavalry, Co E, (Union) Feb 1862-Oct 1863, 1st Battalion,Capital Guards, Paducah Oct 1864-Feb 1865, also served 7th Regt Tenn Cavalry, 3rd co under Capt Beatty and Col Wiley Waller Aug 1862-Feb 1863, only surviving record lists him as Co B 7th Regt Tenn Cav, which is incorrect lists him as deserting at Columbus, Ky Oct 1864, he is listed in Ky State Guard as time in question, regt captured by Gen Nathan Forrest and all records never recovered.

On 1880 census Miss Co Mo Richard CLARK raised 2 nieces from his wife's brother's family he did estate record 1876 for a Eliza CALHOUN, who died 1876, wife listed as one of the heirs. Richard CLARK is my Great-Great Grandfather, and his elder son James Madison Clark is my Great Grandpa, and his oldest son John Robert CLARK (1900-1951) is my Grandpa, my Father is Robert CLARK, Jr. (1928-1984) born White Oak, Dunklin Co, Mo. worked MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD as a Switchman on RAILROAD from Aug 12,1955 - Feb 6,1983 in St. Louis, Missouri.
