Feral L. Napper
Feral L. Napper, 88, of Reston, Va., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Inova Cameron Glen Care Center in Reston.
Born March 16, 1914, in Campbell, Mo., a daughter of the late William D. and Ida Wethers Lightfoot, she was a retired supervisor with Division of Family Services and a member of First United Methodist Church in Holcomb.
On Oct. 31, 1935, she married Van Buren Napper who preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1977. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nelda Sue Hopkins and a brother, Hilton "Heavy" Lightfoot.
Survivors include a son, Van Buren "Bunny" Napper Jr. of Herndon, Va., six grandchildren, Rhonda Erwin of Denver, Colo., Candace Taylor of Warrensburg, Mo., Bruce Napper, Doug Napper and Van Buren "Buzz" Napper III of Herndon and Marcus Hopkins of Holcomb; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Sunday, Feb. 6, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Karen Ewell officiating.
Burial in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
