Edgar Leon "Dude" Moore
Born: May 28, 1925 Died: October, 1977 Moore Services Held Services for Edgar Leon Moore, Kennett, were conducted today at 2pm at the McDaniel Chapel with Rev. Henry Kirby and Rev. Frank Lowe officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens with McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett in charge of the arrangements. The son of Mary Marie Kraust Moore and the late Edgar Lee Moore, he was born May 28, 1925, in Dunklin County. On September 11, 1947, in Bremerton Washington, he was married to Delores Elsie Carlson. She preceeded him in death on February 11, 1976. Mr. Moore died at his residence at the age of 52. Survivors including his mother, Mrs. Mary Moore, Kennett: and one brother Joe Moore, Senath. Pall bearers were Tom Beaver, Ronnie Harris, Warren Beacham, Hal Dean Moore, Joe Moore, and Jim Moore. (Taken from the Daily Dunklin Democrat, October, 1977) |
