Born: Aug 1856 Died: Jan 28, 1944 Campbell Citizen Vol XLIV, No. 39, 4 Feb 1944, Front Page Mrs. Cordie Lindsey Mrs. Cordie Lindsey, 88 years old, died at her home in Campbell last Friday, Jan 28, 1944, of Pneumonia. Funeral services and burial were at Hardy, Ark., her old home, Saturday afternoon at four o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Earl Coats, pastor of the Campbell General Baptist Church. Mrs. Lindsey had resided in Campbell for the last ten years, moving here from Springfield, Mo. Of her immediate family the only surviving member is a son, R. L. Lindsey of Campbell, with whom she made her home. Two other sons preceded her in death and her husband, Calvin Lindsey died eleven years ago. Surviving are a number of grandchildren, other relatives and innumerable friends. CARD OF THANKS We wish to take this means of thanking our friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy shown to us during the illness and death of our dear mother and aunt, Mrs. Cordie Lindsey.
