William Edward Denton
Born: August 27, 1934 Died: May 29, 2005 From the Daily Dunklin Democrat June 2005 William "Bill" Edward Denton, 70, of Cardwell, Mo., died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at his residence. Born Aug. 27, 1934, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late J.W. and Reba Bishop Denton. He was of the Baptist faith and an active member of the Trinity Community Church and One Step Ministries in Cardwell. On Jan. 1, 1959, in St. Louis, Mo., he married JoAnn Denton, who survives. Survivors also include one sister, Mary Ellen Hughes of Cardwell; four daughters, Marie Mitchell of Paragould, Peggy Walker and Darlene Nipper of Cardwell; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Denton; one sister, Jane Crawford; two granddaughters, Christina and Amanda; and a son-in-law, Jimmy Nipper. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 1 at Trinity Community Church of Cardwell with the Rev. Kevin Knox officiating. Burial was held at the Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers were T.A. Mitchell, Gary Walker, Chad McCoy, Matt Nipper, Chris Nipper, Bruce Smith, Kevin Deering, Chris Cox and Brian Nipper. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Barnett, David Barnes and David Bishop. McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd was in charge of arrangements. |
