Born: September 13,1877 Died: Feburary 19,1957 Former Resident Dies James A. Adkins. Born Sept,13,1877 in Tennessee. Passed away Feb 19,1957 at the Dunklin County Memorial Hospital at Kennett at the age of 79 years 5 months and 5 days old. He leaves to mourn his passing three sons, Adolph of California Rayburn of St.Louis and J.B. of Kansas Three Daughters: Mary Evans of Fisk Nora Curtis and Agnes Evans of Kennett. 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Lentz Funeral Home Feb,20 at 2.00pm with Bro Jordon of the first Baptist Church in Kennett officiating. Interment in the Cemetery their. Mr.Adkins was a former resident of Lilborn and worked at the Nesswhodi-Campbell Gin for several years. |
