STROUD, WILLIAM Abt. 1860 - ___. Married Catherine 'Louisa' A. Wofford Aug. 16, 1887 in Dent County. (Louisa (Feb. 26, 1868-May 6, 1942) is buried at Mount Herman Cemetery). Father of Maude J. (Aug. 23, 1890 - Nov. 4, 1977, m. Walter Stites, buried at Mount Herman Cemetery), Perry W. (Jan. 21, 1899 - Jul. 21, 1920, buried at Mount Herman Cemetery), Mary Iona 'Ona' (Mar. 23, 1893 - Oct. 3, 1995, m. James Clarence (Walter?) Swyers and Samuel P. (b. abt. 1899).

WOFFORD, WILLIAM DOCTOR 'DOCKY' Jan. 19, 1813, - Apr. 1, 1880. Son of William Lafayette Wofford & Sarah 'Sally' Yerkes. Mary C. 'Polly' Wynn (born abt. 1820, NC, buried at Rector, Clay Co. AR; she was the daughter of Daniel Wynn). Thirteen children: William Jasper (Oct. 31, 1839- Oct. 8, 1924, buried at Palace Cemetery in Texas Co., m. Martha A. Arnold, Jun. 3, 1858, Dent Co., daughter of James Arnold of NC), Manerva (b. abt. 1841 TN, m. Claborn Phillips, Dec. 3, 1853), Doctor David (b. abt. 1851 - 1890, buried at Watts Cemetery Duke-Phelps Co., moved to NV & CA) Samuel A., Alethe P., Daniel Allen, James A., Mary A. (b. abt. 1847, Dent Co.), Mourning (b. abt. 1857, moved to FL, postmistress at Panama City FL), Benjamin Outlaw (Apr. 15, 1859 - Sep. 18, 1938, buried at Greenwood Cemetery, San Diego CA, m. 1) Mahala Sarber Dec. 8, 1880, Dent Co., m. 2) Hazel Thurman Mar. 25, 1900), Thomas (left or was killed in Civil War, m. Mary J. Shoults, Feb. 7, 1850, Crawford Co., & twins C. Price (Sep., 1862 - m. Melvina Nunn, Dec. 20, 1883, moved to Black Rock, Lawrence Co. AR) & Jefferson David (b. Sep., 1862 - d. 1905, buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Craighead Co. AR, m. Resetta Josephine 'Josie' Taylor, 1882, and had eight children). Docky settled near Lenox MO in 1847.

WOFFORD, JAMES ANDREW May 1, 1845 - Aug. 20, 1877, son of William Doctor Wofford & Mary C. 'Polly' Wynn. Married Nancy J. W. Arnold, Jan. 30, 1863, Dent Co. Four children: Catherine 'Louisa' A. (b. abt. 1866, m. William Stroud, Dent Co. 1887), Isaac (b. abt. 1872), Mary (b. abt. 1875), Charles Edward 'Eddie' (b. abt. 1877, m. Ada Clementine Thompson Dec. 26, 1896). Nancy J. W. Arnold Wofford married 2) John Smith Causey, Sep.27, 1900 (buried at Wofford Cem.-Pilot Grove, Dent Co.).

WOFFORD, ALETHE PRUDENCE Aug. 4, 1850 - Nov.1, 1854 Daughter of William D. Wofford & Mary C. 'Polly' Wynn.

WOFFORD, SAMUEL ASBURY Dec. 19, 1853 - Oct. 25, 1869 Son of William D. Wofford & Mary C. 'Polly' Wynn. (on tombstone is a carving of a hand holding a six shooter and below it a lamb; tradition has it the boy loved firearms and the lamb stands for youth).

WOFFORD, DANIEL ALLEN Apr.16, 1843 - abt. 1880. Son of William D. Wofford & Mary C. 'Polly' Wynn. Married Sarah Elender Phillips, 1865 (b.Jun.25, 1843 - d. Feb.26, 1924, buried at near Victor, Ravilli Co. MT, daughter of Pleasant H. Phillips & Mary M. Causey). Six children: William Lafayette (buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery Salem) Mary Ann Eliza (m. Robert Hunter 1899, moved to Victor, MT), Elizabeth Caroline (m. 1) Samuel Southards, m.2) Elijah Skiles, buried at Mount Herman Cemetery), Clementine Y. 'Clemmie' (b. 1877, m. William Southards), James W. (b. Dec. 2, 1867, moved to MT & Seattle WA) and Doctor David (b. 1876 - d. 1933, Seattle WA, m. 1896).

WOFFORD, WILLIAM W. Jun. 3, 1868 - Jul. 31, 1871. Son of William Jasper (buried at Palace Cemetery) & Martha Irene Arnold (buried at Mount Olive Cemetery).
