HUSBAND & WIFE:
Married Jun. 2, 1805.
WELCH, JOHN, JR.
May 28, 1786 - 1857. Soldier in War of
1812 under General Jackson, Co. 1 W. Tenn Mtd Vols. Son
of John Welch, Sr. (who d. 1847 & was Soldier in
Revolutionary War & is also buried in Dent County). Children: John (m. Melissa Jane
Callahan), Robert, Joshiah, Thomas, & several others. He lived
in North Carolina and Tennessee, then moved to Dent County, Missouri
about 1837. J. R. Callahan & John Ray placed a headstone obtained
through Veteran's Administration at his grave.
WELCH, ELIZABETH HUEY Born Feb. 3, 1788.
