FLATT, JOHN M.      Jan. 10, 1862 - Dec. 4, 1885.    Son of John Flatt & Sarah ___. He was killed on 3rd St. in Salem when gun discharged when he fell out of the back of a wagon hitting him in abdomen. Sibling of A. J. Flatt, Joanna Yark (moved to Bucyrus OH, d. age 81), & 4 more (7 ch. in family). The Flatts came to Dent Co. 1879.

FLATT, JOHN P.     Dec. 7, 1885 - Aug.18, 1897.    Son of Andrew Jackson  Flatt & Evaline Tharp (parents buried at Mount Herman Cemetery).

FLATT, MYRTLE LEE     Nov. 18, 1884 - Jan. 10, 1885.    Daughter of Andrew Jackson  Flatt & Evaline Tharp.

GUINTHER, MARTHA A. 'MAT' THARP     Oct.8, 1852 - Aug. 24, 1907.    Daughter of C. P. Tharp & Martha Smith. Died when she hung herself. Married C. H. Guinther, 1882, Dent Co.

HUSBAND & WIFE:   Married Sep. 16, 1847 Crawford County.
THARP, COATSWORTH PINCKNEY 'PINK' 'C. P.'   
    Apr. 13, 1822 - Jun. 7, 1888.    He was orphaned at an early age. He was a prominent farmer. Married 2nd Margaret Anna Jamison, Jan. 9, 1851. Father of: William (never married, died at Farmington, buried at State Hosp. Cemetery); Edwin (m. Minnie Walker, raised large family in community; Edwin is buried at Mount Herman Cemetery); Martha (m. C. H. Guinther); Eliza J. (m. Calvin Floyd), Cynthia (m. ___ Pierce (moved to TX), Evaline (m. Andrew J. Flatt); C. P. (m. Martha Smith, 1879, Dent County; Martha m. William C. Downing, 1892, Dent Co.).
THARP, JANE JAMISON   
 Aug. 3, 1828 - 1848.    Daughter of Samuel Jamison & Sarah Carson. Was a relative of Kit Carson, famous frontiersman.

THARP, MARGARET ANNA JAMISON      Jan. 5, 1830 - Jan. 16, 1867.   Daughter of Samuel Jamison & Sarah Carson. Second wife of C. P. Tharp. She was the sister of C. P.'s first wife, Jane. They were relatives of James A. Jamison, well-known bushwhacker in area during Civil War (who moved to TX)

THARP, ADALINE     Died Mar. 17, 1857, aged 11 mos. 5 das.    Daughter of C. P. Tharp & Margaret Jamison.

THARP, ELIZABETH     Died Jan. 3, 1861, age 3 mos. 21 das.    Daughter of C. P. Tharp & Margaret Jamison.

THARP, CAROLINE     Mar. 5, 1865 - Mar. 9, 1865.    Age 4 days. Daughter of C. P. Tharp & Margaret Jamison.

Jamison Lineage:    Samuel M. Jamison, (Feb.20, 1804, Stanton VA - Jan.14, 1865, Dent County, Missouri) married Sarah H. Carson, (Apr.14,1806, Nashville TN - Sep.10, 1867, Dent County, Missourr). Children were Elizabeth (May 9, 1826, Nashville TN - 1833 - died en route to Missouri), Jane (m. Pinkney Tharp), Ann Margaret (m. Pinkney Tharp), Elizabeth (1833, Dent Co.- 1841, Dent Co.), Martha (Sep. 2, 1836 - Mar. 9, 1915, died at Dry Fork, buried at Williams Cemetery near Licking, m. James Heron, 1871, Dent Co.), Sarah L. S. (buried at Mount Herman Cemetery, m. 1) Foster Richards, m. 2) George W. Cox), Elon Eliza (Aug. 30, 1844 - Mar. 16, 1927, died at Wheatland WY, m. Charles D. Griffin, 1874, Dent Co.), Mary M. (Mar. 11, 1849 - Jun. 4, 1937,  died at Wheatland WY, m. Philip Hedrick), Captain James A. (Jan. 12,. 1851 - Jan. 19, 1906, buried at Oak Grove Cemetery at Yoakum TX, m. Sarah Elizabeth Lawrence in TX; moved to TX ca. 1870.
