HUITT, ELLA AMMER SPARKS      No dates.    Daughter of Rubin Sparks & Belinda Gray Sparks. Married Edmond Y. 'Ed' Huitt in 1866 in Dent County by Rev. John Worsham. Ed later married _____ Hunter of Turtle. He is buried in Kansas City.

HUITT, MAUDIE M      May 14, 1887 - Jun. 7, 1888.    Daughter of Edmond Y. Huitt & Ella Ammer Sparks. Eptiaph: 'Gone but not forgotten.'

 No dates.    Children: William (m. Sarah Jane Shirley, buried at Stone Hill Cemetery); Edmond H. (m. Lydia J. Ball, buried at Stone Hill Cemetery); Sidney; Ella Ammer (m. Edmond Y. Huitt); Martha Margaret; Elias (m. Catherine 'Kate' Warfel, buried at Miner Cemetery); Emeline (m. Thomas Edwards, 1876, Dent County, moved to Galena, KS, mother of Roscoe Edwards); Mary (2/28/1854 - 10/11/1914, m. Dr. John Harrison Gill 1876, Dent Co., buried in St. Louis, mother of Mary Ellen & Jessie Bates Gill of St. Louis, buried at Valhalla Cemetery) and ___ Susan (m. Marion Bullock, 1889, Dent Co. by John Elvins, J. P.).

SPARKS, SIDNEY     Mar. 19, 1857 - Dec. 27, 1921.    Son of Rubin Sparks & Belinda Gray. Born at Wilks Co. NC. Died at the home of his niece, Mrs. W. H. Story, east of Salem. Married Juritta F. 'Rita' Bay May 10, 1893 in Dent County by Rev. John H. Welch. Children: Walter & Ben (both to Poplar Bluff), & Mrs. E. E. Atchley (Springfield). He converted about 1905 and joined Antioch Baptist. Rita was the daughter of Green W. Bay (buried at Bay Cemetery) & Elizabeth P. Swiney (buried at Burnett Cemetery); Rita is buried at Springfield.

SPARKS, MARGARET     No dates.    Daughter of Rubin Sparks & Belinda Gray. Mother of Bertha May Lozier (m. William H. Story, she is buried in the yard of her home near Max)
