ASHER, MARY ANN MORRIS JORDAN    Dec. 17, 1847 - aft. 1910.    Daughter of Caleb Morris (1817-1900) & Mary Ann Canady (1820-1857). Married 1st on Apr. 22, 1869, Lyman Lewis A. Jordan (1838-1884), Dent Co.; m. 2nd Jan. 4, 1888, Rev. James 'Columbus' Asher (1833-1919). No death certificate found.

BELL, CARRIE     No dates.    No death certificate found.

CANADY, SUSAN BATES      Born about 1792 in South Carolina.    Widow; husband died before 1860. 

HUSBAND & WIFE:  Married Dec. 1, 1842 in Crawford County by Rev. Claiborn Sullivant.
CANADY/KANADA, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN 'FRANK'
     Born 1822.    He married 2nd Mrs. Anna Morris Byers. The Canady family originally settled on the Huzzah at Dillard, some are buried at the  Fran Doms farm. Frank was a brother of Mary Ann 'Polly' Canady who married his brother-in-law, Caleb Morris about 1838; both Mary Ann & Caleb are buried at the Boss Cemetery). Other siblings of Frank were Mrs. Joshua Morris; Elizabeth K. 'Sally' Canady, who married Joseph Hedrick, 7/6/1843, Crawford County; Capt. Edmond 'Bates' Canady (m. Ann Elizabeth Gill, 1866, Dent Co. (she is buried at Copeland Cemetery; he moved to Montana.)  One of B. F.'s daughter married Sherman Smith.
CANADY, MARY MORRIS
    Born about 1824.    Daughter of Moses Morris; sister of Caleb Morris.

Note about the above: I don't know who I would get in touch with about the Clark cemetery page on the last name Canady, but it states that my great grandmother,  Anne Elizabeth Gill, married to Capt. Bates Kanada, is buried at Copeland Cemetery, which is incorrect.  She died in Portland, Oregon and is buried at the Rose City Cemetery there.  It also states that Capt. Kanada moved to Montana alone, but actually they went together, living in Belt Township, MT until his death, at which time Anne Elizabeth Gill Kanada continued on to Portland, Oregon with her daughter Lucy Kanada Light, and her son-in-law William Granville Light.  Harriet Light

CLARK, WILLIAM
     Born about 1833 in Tennessee; died at Boss, Missouri. Married 1st Eliza Highley. Their children were William, Jr., who married Sarah Camden and moved to Montana. His siblings were Joseph (who was murdered near Boss), Sally (married 1st Samuel Hardeman, 2nd. Tom Dotson on 3/3/1883); and Mary Clark who is buried at the Farmington State Hosp. Cemetery.
CLARK, SUSANNAH BELL MORRIS
     Born Jul. 6, 1839.    Daughter of Caleb Morris & Mary Ann Canady Morris. She married 1st William T. Bell on Apr. 24, 1856. He is buried at the Boss Cemetery.

  No dates.    Daughter of Frank Canady & Mary Morris.

, MR.    No dates.    Father of Ada M. Daniels (married 1st Victor Scherer; 2nd a Mr. Moss and moved to Joplin, and Ann who married John Goforth.

, MRS.    No dates.   

GILMER, SOLOMON     Born ca. 1810 in Missouri.    Died at the home of Virginia Morris of Boss, Missouri. Married 1st m. Eliza Henslee on Jan. 16, 1840 at Crawford County. They had eight children; Adaline Davis and seven who died young. He married 2nd Louisana Scott (b. ca 1824 in MO). Their children: Virginia Ione (m. Monroe Morris, bur. Boss Cem.), George, John E., Charles Christopher (m. Ella Frances Marney, lived Reynolds Co.), & Fannie. Solomon lived in Washington County & later at Piedmont in Wayne County. His mother was a Webb. He was visiting daughter Virginia on the Big Huzzah when he died. The Washington Co. census of 1850 lists his children as Mary A., Malissa J., William C., John E., Virginia I., Margaret and Charles.

HEATON, SARAH E.    No dates.     Daughter of Jess E. Heaton, who was the son of J. B. Heaton, who is buried at the Burnett Cemetery) & Mary E. Asher (10/14/1884 – 1886). Mary was the daughter of Columbus Asher. The family moved to Big Creek in Shannon County. Many of them are buried at the Heaton Cemetery. Sarah E. was a sister of Leanna (buried at the Burnett Cemetery, married Charley H. Burnett); Martha Louisa (m. Albert Chrisco); Elizabeth (single); Alice Jane (m. Walter L. Warren); Julia Dorothy (m. Link C. Conway); Tina Deatherage Harrison and John C. (single).

JORDAN, LYMAN LEWIS A.     1847 - 1885     (approximate dates).    Son of Lyman Jordan & Fannie Dearth.    A brother of Royal Jordan. He formerly lived in Bollinger Co., m. Mary Ann Morris who later m. Columbus Asher.  WILL OF LYMAN JORDAN: 'Dent County, Missouri Will Book "A" 1866-1893 Page 38
JORDAN, LYMAN LEWIS, of Meagher Co., Montana - will dated 26 Jan 1884. Wife, Mary A. Jordan, land (description) and at her death to my brother, R[oyal]. W[alker]. Jordan of Columbia[, Coos,] New Hampshire. Brother John H[udson]. Jordan of Lemington[, Essex,] Vermont, land in Dent Co. (description). Mentions land in Meagher Co., Montana. Executor, L. Judson. Witnesses: Clark, W. H. Jackson & F. B. Young. Dater recorded not given. (page 138 & repeated on page 154)'

MORRIS, SARAH JANE   Born Nov. 7, 1844.    Daughter of Caleb Morris & Mary Ann Canady. Never married. (Parents buried at Boss Cemetery).

WHITNEY, CHILD    No dates.    Son of Marcus Whitney & Julia Morris; (Parents buried at Boss Cemetery).
