Dent Co.); Mary E. (m. John H. Sweeney); Perry Robert (bur. Cedar Grove Cemetery, m. Susan Sweeney, daughter of Henry & Sarah Jane Sweeney); Sarah Jane (m. Hugh Vance, buried at Short Cemetery); Alzora (m. William Henry Vance, buried at Short Cemetery); Amanda J. (m. John T. Land, 1875, Dent Co.); Thomas W. (m. Ditha Summers, 1882, Dent Co.—Ditha later m. A. W. Day Steelman, 1889, Jadwin); David (m. Zelly Hake, 1885, Dent Co.— daughter of Anna Hake Young; David died in St. Louis). Moved to Dent Co. ca 1869 from Sullivan Co. IN

SAWYERS (SURYES/SWYRES) Died Winter, 1869. 'Grandma' Hers was the first grave here. She was the mother of Mary (Mrs. George Bedwell)

SWEENEY, MARY ELIZABETH 'LIZZIE' Sep. 28, 1868 - Dec. 30, 1937. Daughter of George W. Bedwell & Mary Sawyers/Swyres Bedwell;
John H. Sweeney Feb. 19, 1891 at Dent County at J. Carver's, by Rev. Taylor Mann. John was the son of Henry & Sarah Jane Sweeney. He is buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery. They had a large family. (See more at listing for Cedar Grove Cemetery)

TUCKER, Baby Child of Charlie Tucker & Lula Vance Tucker. (They are buried at Stone Hill Cemetery). Great granddaughter of George & Mary Bedwell.

VANCE, CHILD Child of William Vance & Alzora Bedwell Vance.
