I am searching for GRIFFITHs in Daviess County, 1872-1899. John PIERSON, Nancy, his mother, 2 brothers and one sister came to Daviess Co. from Hendricks Co ., IN. John PIERSON married Hester KEMBRELL, who was also living in Daviess Co. at the time. In 1899 they moved to Livingston Co.. They both died in Livingston Co. I would love to hear from anyone with any thing on this family.

I am reshearching my ggf Hebert Hugh O'HARE who settled in Daviess County sometime around the civil war.He was born in Ohio in 1830. He married Sarah A ROGERS in 1861 some where around Jameson Mo.They are both buried in Hickory Creek Cemertier,along with several of their children. My great uncle Martin Harvey,his brother and some of hi family is also buried there.

I am seeking information on John W. And Susan BLAKELY and their six children, Thomas , James, Mary, Martha, John and William. I found them in the 1850 Daviess County Census. John W was born in Kentucky, his wife Susan was born in Virginia. Thomas M. the oldest born circa 1830, was born in Kinetucky, I believe to be my great-great-grandfather. James the next oldest was also born in Kentucky. The other four were all born in Missouri.

I am researching George EGBERT and Harriett Matilda SPLAWN EGBERT.. They are my great grandparents on my father's side of the family. Their daughter Maggie Jane Egbert married my grandfather Martin Harvey O'Hare. in Daviess County Mo. Martin and Maggie Jane's youngest son frank Keith O'Hare is my Father. Any and all information on the Egbert and Splawn would be greatly appreciated. George Egbert came to Daviess County MO after the C.W.fron Indiana someplace. I do not know where The Splawn family came from,But I sure would like to know.The Splawn settled in the Crab Orchard area.

West Liberty, KY) and Martha Jane Blackburn ( born December 10, 1838 in Zanesville, Ohio)Martha Jane Black Burn and David Duncan Allen were married Oct. 17, 1857 in place unknown. Thomas Benton MILLER B.9 Aug. 1866 in Daviess Co. Need parents or other relatives. Thomas Benton Miller moved to Lawrence Co, Ark and married in 1906 Martha Milinda OVERSTREET. I don't know when he left Daviess co. but he was machinist on RR in Ark. They had Basil Herbert, Mattie May,Thomas Earl, Charles M., and Margaret Lee. Would appreciate any leads as to his parents names. In 1910 Ark, census he said his father b. in MO but in 1920 Ark census says his father b. in Oh In both census he says his mother b. Mo.io.

The first 3 kids were born MO: Thomas HALL b. abt 1843, Rebecca HALL JOHNSON b. abt 1844 d. 1929 and Willard HALL b. 1846 MO, d. 30 Mar 1924 Marion Co,OR. This second family went to Oregon between 1846 and 1858. Need any info on Halls of Gallatin area.
