MemDay02s.jpgThe Missouri State Society Daughters of the American Revolution have established a traditional Memorial Day Service at Cold Water Cemetery and is held at 10:00 AM on every observed Monday Memorial Day holiday. These services are open to the public.

MemDay01s.jpgMany organizations participate in the service each year. The American Legion places flags on service men’s graves. The Honor Guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars present the Colors. The Boy Scout Troop and the Cub Scout Pack help raise and lower the American flag. The Ministers of local churches lead the Invocation and Benediction. Members of the Missouri State Society Children of the American Revolution place roses on the graves of deceased DAR members.

MemDay03s.jpgThe Missouri State Regent, DAR and members of the Cold Water Advisory Board, Sons of the American Revolution and Sons of the Revolution place Memorial Wreaths.

Milicias.jpgThe Twenty-One Gun Salute is provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Milicia de San Carlos. Amazing Grace is played on the Bagpipes and each year a notable guest speaker provides a message to honor service men everywhere.
