1.  JOHN1 CLARK was born 1783 in Vermont, and died 1850 in Dade Co.,
Missouri.  He married NANCY HUMES 27 May 1810 in Middlesex, Washington Co.,
VT, daughter of SAMUEL HUMES and MARY THOMPSON.

Notes for JOHN CLARK:
     John and Nancy first emigrated from their native state to Ohio, and
thence to Indiana, and then to Illinois, and afterward to Missouri.  They
were members of the Christian Church.  They had 8 sons and 1 daughter.

d. 28 May 1896, Washington Co., Arkansas.

2.  AMBROSE HUMES2 CLARK (JOHN1) was born 18 Apr 1818 in Ross Co., Ohio, and
died 28 May 1896 in Washington Co., Arkansas.  He married CELINA HASH,
daughter of ALVIN HASH and ESTHER DRAKE.

Notes for AMBROSE HUMES CLARK:
     Ambrose left home at the age of 14.  He worked as a farm hand in Ohio,
followed his family to Indiana and spent 4 years there.  Ambrose left Indiana
by ox team and went to Washington County, Arkansas.

d. 10 Jun 1935, Washington Co., Arkansas.

Washington Co., Arkansas, and died 10 Jun 1935 in Washington Co., Arkansas.
 He married SARAH LOUISE MCKINZIE, daughter of WILLIAM MCKINZIE and MARY
SHIELDS.

RICHARD BREWER and VIRGINIA.

in Laredo, Webb Co., Texas.  He married ANNA MAE WILKINSON 07 Sep 1930 in
Temple, Bell Co., Texas, daughter of SHEFFIELD WILKINSON and ANNA BENDELE.
