Muster Roll for Company F, Third Missouri Mounted Volunteers

 

Muster Roll of Captain James J. Clarkson’s Company [F] in the Third Regiment Missouri Mounted Volunteers, commanded by Colonel John Ralls, called into service of the United States by the President thereof, under the act of Congress approved May [ ] 1846 at Independence (the place of general rendezvous) on the 22nd day of May 1846, to serve for the term of during the war with Mexico, from the date of enrollment, unless sooner discharged; from the 30th day of June 1846 (when last paid), to the 4th day of October 1848, when discharged.  The company was organized by Capt. James J. Clarkson, at Greenfield, Mo., in the month of April 1846, and marched thence to Independence, Mo., where it arrived the 22nd of May 1846, advance of one hundred and fifty miles.
