Consists primarily of engagement, marriage and birth announcements; obituaries and other materials of genealogical interest. Covers a large area in southwest Missouri. Especially useful is the single index covering 1953 - 1991.
Independent Order of Odd Fellows
2 rolls. Nixa Lodge 1898 - 1909 and Ozark Lodge 1869 - 1931 (mostly 1901 - 1927). Nixa is indexed and available on-line at Christian County Transcribed Records website. Ozark will be transcribed. Original books belong to the Christian County Museum. Microfilm can be viewed at the Christian County Library or the Western Historic Manuscript Collection, Rolla.
