I would like to share my (Astholz family History) .
The Astholz family moved to Cape Girardeau sometime prior to Heinrich Adolph Astholz marriage to Augusta Henrietta Brandes on Feb 10, 1867 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau, MO . Henrich Adolph Astholz was the first Fire Chief of Cape Girardeau Missouri. I will be sending pictures of them and their children. Pillet on Nov 27, 1909 divorce Mabel and married Bertha F. Gilpatrich on Apr 20, 1928 Artomiese Adolphine Astholz b Jan 29,1888 d July 4, 1956 Benjamin H. Adams was editor of the Cape Girardeau Democrat and was born in Scott Co, Mo on 2 Dec 1847. Ben married Martha "Mattie" Victoria Casebolt May 16, 1869. Mattie was born . Adams b August 18, 1891 Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau Co, Mo Lady Mae Adams b May 01, 1895 Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau Co, Mo d October 05, 1967 San Carlos, San Mateo Co, Ca Agnes Elize Lulu Astholz b Nov 18, 1870 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau, Missouri and d Feb 10, 1950, married June 15, 1891 in St. Louis, Missouri to Park H. Adams b December 26, 1870 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. They became interested in theatricals. At first it was home talent plays and then several succesful benefit shows. They joined a traveling troupe called the Star Theatre Company. They moved to Winter Haven Florida in 1914 in time for the big land boom. They had the following children: Esmerelda Adams b February 22, 1892 Adolphine Adams b July 18, 1896 Ogarita Adams b July 23, 1897 Queena Adams b October 08, 1899 Park Henry Adams b February 14, 1902 Albert Hardin Adams b March 04, 1904 Agnes Adams b March 02, 1906 Antonio Benjamin Adams b January 14, 1908 John Quincy Adams b August 23, 1910 *Note - most of the children were born in Cape Girardeau.
