I don't know which side of the family it is. Possible names are Heinrich STRATMANN, b. 10 Jul 1824, Oedingen, Westphalia; Franz Adam STRATMANN, b. 17 Oct 1826, Oedingen, Westphalia; or it could be from the other side of the family, SPEKERMANN. My great grandfather Charles Wilson SMITH was born in Cape Girardeau County 11 Mar 1848, son of Elizabeth Clark(e) and Charles David Smith. The parents are buried in the Thompson Family Cemetery on the farm of Capt John Thompson (1752- 1818) near Egypt Mills. Charles Wilson Smith married sometime between 1866 and 1869. Family lore says she was Indian, she died and he migrated to Mississippi in 1869. Need to know first wife's vitals and where she is buried. Would like to know the location of the Thompson Cemetery.
