Francis was a resident of Butler Co., MO.� He was father of: John Phillip Kearbey Sr..
who was Butler Co. sheriff from 1912-1915 when he was shot and killed in the line of duty.��

Francis lived out his last few years in the Old Soldiers Home and is buried in the,
Civil War Natl. Cemetary in Higginsville, MO. �

Francis was born 7 Jan 1839 in Grandin, MO ( Wayne Co. at that time) and died
10 Mar 1929.(Higginsville, MO)�� He raised his family in Butler Co. He was son of
Thomas Lee Kearbey and Nancy Jane (Scott) Keaarbey
