Births & deaths were required to be registered by County Clerks in MO from 1883-1893. Some are still extant at Missouri State Archives, 600 W Main PO box 778 Jefferson City MO 65102-0778 Ph 573 751-3280State registration of births and deaths began in 1863, and there are many early records, though compliance with the law was not universal until about 1911. For records after 1910, call (314) 751-6387 to verify current fees, then write
Bureau of Vital Records, 920 Wildwood Dr PO Box 570, Jefferson City MO 65102-0570 Ph 573-751-6400
Marriages from 1825 are recorded in the counties by the Recorder of Deeds in each. Since a number of courthouses have burned, your county could be one of those. In that case, check with State Historical Society of MO, 1020 Lowry, Columbia MO 65201.
Also MO had censuses every FOUR years, 1825 thru 1863. Copies are at the last address above (the Historical Society) AND at the Missouri State Archives (the FIRST address above.) Your chances are good, but it takes work. Good luck!
