Research Note: William came to Barry County with his father and stepmother, Fannie M. Fowler, in 1883. He enlisted in 1898 and his record shows that he spend his time in the service at Fort Clark, TX, and never left the country. He was back home in the 1900 Census for Barry Co. He was a barber and owned his own shop in Chickasha, OK most of his life. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Grady Co., OK along with his wife Bertha. There was a Will McIntosh charged with stealing cattle in Barry Co. in 1894, (this Will could have been a cousin of his)
