I have been looking for the parents of my great grandfather, Robert Emmit PERRYMAN. He was born near the end of the civil war and was orphaned shortly thereafter. I do not know if there is a connection but in the notes that my family has accumulated through years of searching, I have found that on June 21, 1873 a Nancy Perryman, daughter of Peter Perryman of Mountain Township, Barry County, Missouri, committed suicide. Can anyone search to see if they can find out more about this incident? Can the age of Nancy Perryman be determined? I would assume that she was living with her father in the 1870 census.
