Maybe late summer 1923 or 1924.
Donna Cooper Posted: An older member of the Haddock family said that there might be some Haddock family members in this photo.

Here below are the ones she thought might possibly be pictured.

The 3rd man from the left standing in between a man sitting on a crate and a woman who is holding a child is Claude Haddock, born 1897, the woman standing next to him is possibly Pearl. And the child she is holding might be Claude's son, Ottis D., who was born Jan. 10, 1923. If this child is Ottis then he would have been about 8 or 9 months old if this photo was taken in August or September of 1923 or about 18 months old if the photo was taken in 1924. He might be over a year old so that makes the date more likely to be 1924.

The man sitting with both hands on his legs, next to a man holding his hat by the tree in front, is Gary McMillen. The man holding his hat appears to be Virgil Haddock, born 1899, son of Sam and Eva (Woods) Haddock. The woman to the left and right behind Gary McMillen is Gertie (Addington) Haddock, Sam's second wife. She had a baby, Susan Edna, June 8, 1923, so that might mean that this photo was taken in the later part of the 1923 summer or possibly the following year in 1924.

The man with his arms folded right behind the tree and to the right with overalls and white shirt is Lawrence Haddock, born Sept. 11, 1903, son of Sam and his first wife Eva (Woods) Haddock. He looks to be about 20 to 21 years old in this photo.

The little girl is to the right of the older gray headed man with overalls on is Della Haddock, born Nov. 3, 1909, daughter of Gertie Addington. She is on the second row and the fifth from the right side. Sam and Gertie married in July 23, 1911, but Della went by the Haddock name. She looks like she was about 13 or 14 in this photo.

The little boy in the front with overalls on and his hands on his knee might possibly be Homer Haddock, who was born Sept. 14, 1912 was the oldest child of Sam and Gertie Haddock. Comparing some photos of Homer when he was young leads us to think that this is possibly Homer. If this photo was taken in 1923 or 1924 he would have been about 11 or 12 years old.

The man on the right of the photo, next to the tree on the right, seated with hands in front of him, might be William Haddock, Sam Haddock's brother. He lived in Pioneer about that time and died in 1942. He is buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Pioneer, MO.

The old man on the right of the photo with white over-alls on and standing possibly could be related to the Wood family.

If anyone can help identify of these people or add to this or make corrections to this, please let me know. Donna Cooper
