| Research Note | Amos Wormington & Billie Kring (Mom's sister) - I don't know the date it was taken, but they were married on April 25, 1942 by Rev. A. F. Spain.
Donna Cooper's Note: Amos Wormington was a Charles & Sarah (Collins) Haddock, Jr. descendant. He was a son of Bert and Minnie B. (Higgins) Wormington, a grandson of James Robert and Josephene Mariah (Means) Wormington, a great-grandson of Edward Jannet and Elizabeth (Haddock) Wormington. Edward was killed by bushwhackers. Elizabeth's parents were Charles and Sarah (Collins) Haddock, Jr. Charles was killed by bushwhackers, too. On the Wormington side, Edward's parents were Asa Hassell and Anna Olive (Hawley) Wormington. |
