| Research Note | Charles Woolsey and his siblings.
They were the children of George Gammon Woolsey (1851-1906) and Sarah Jane Hand (1852-1922). The picture was probably taken in 1954 shortly before Louisa's death. Standing (Left to Right) 1. Mary Lillian Woolsey (1876-1968). Married J. Lawson Jeffries. 2. Louisa Woolsey (1881-1954). Married Joseph Allen Breece. 3. Alvis Woolsey (1885-1976). Married Mable Wormington. She died and then he married his brother's widow, Goldia Jeanette Terpening. Front row: 4. Charles Elisha Woolsey (1888-1955). Married Zena Beasley, divorced, and then married Goldia Jeanette Terpening. 5. Claude Woolsey (1891-1989). Married Era Laura Shores. She died and he married Stella Snowberger. This picture was given to me by James Ellis. |
