Powell and Elizabeth (Eidson) Robison
Powell and Elizabeth (Eidson) were born in Hawkins Co., TN. Powell was born about 1846 and Bettie in 1849. They were married there in 1865. They moved to Barry Co. about 1889 and lived there the rest of their lives. They are both buried in Antioch Cemetery. Their last name was originally spelled Robinson but some where along the way it got changed to Robison and that spelling has been used by the family ever since. They were the parents of eleven children: Rufus, John Marcus, Laura, Mollie, Allie, Elbert, Ebb, Joseph Washington, Perry, Pony, and the youngest, William Harrison "Jack" Robison. |
