Research Note Claude Everett Haddock - Son of Samuel Sanders and Evaline "Eva" V. (Woods) Haddock - May 03, 1897 Rocky Comfort, McDonald Co., MO - Mar 08, 1960 in Newton Co., MO. His name is spelled Claud Everitt Haddock on the death certificate.

His death certificate reads that he was 62 years old and that he dropped dead in the barn on his farm and that his wife was named Ethel C. Haddock. Ethel was also the informant. Claude was a carpenter of general building and his father was Sam Haddock. The cause of death was coronary occlusion. May 3, 1897 is the date given as his birthday and he was born in Rocky Comfort. Burial was in Osborne Memorial by Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary of Joplin, MO, but the cemetery is in Newton County. His mailing address was Rt. 4, Joplin, MO and he had lived in that area for 35 years.
His stone reads that he served in MO, PVT Co 69 Infantry, WW I. His wife's stone has her name as Ethel K. Haddock, born Oct. 10, 1902 and died Dec. 1, 1985. She was Ethel K. Main. A child is also buried there by them. His name is Bobby Gene Haddock. Birth: Jan. 15, 1933 - Death: Oct. 2, 1980. He was M Sgt in Korea, US Air Force.
