| Research Note | The John Rite Garrison Family
Taken about 1916 Martha Ann (Garrison) Blankenship was an aunt to John Rite Garrison. She and her husband, Lorenzo Jackson Blankenship were buried in Corsicana Cemetery. Both John Rite Garrison and Martha's husband, Lorenzo Blankenship, were both born in Lee County, VA. Martha (Garrison) Blankenship was born in Hawkins Co., TN, and was a daughter of William and Mary (Bloomer) Garrison. James and Rebecca (Barker) Garrison were the parents of William. John Rite Garrison was buried in Clark Cemetery. He died in 1889 and Martha Blankenship died in 1897 and her husband died in 1901. John Rite Garrison was married to Sarah Jane Davidson, and she is pictured below. John was a son of James and Rebecca (Barker) Garrison. Sarah was a daughter of Abrim Charles and Elizabeth (Swindle) Davidson. |
