Mrs. Bertha Boyd Dies, Wife of Robert Boyd Passes Away Tuesday of Tuberculosis, aged 29 Years

Mrs. Bertha Boyd, age 29 years, 1 month and 14 days, wife of Robert Boyd, died at her home on Gunter, Tuesday, August 1, of tuberculosis. Mrs. Boyd was a most excellent young woman and was held in the highest esteem and respect by all who knew her. She was a constant member of the Baptist Church and was a zealous worker. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Blaylock, highly respected citizens of that locality. To grow to womanhood in one community and have the confidence of all is quite a compliment that may be said of Mrs. Boyd very truthfully. Besides her husband she leaves a 2 year old daughter and other relatives to mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Charles Vanzandt at the Arnhart Church, Wednesday, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there. The bereaved husband, daughter and relatives have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
