Unknown Tin Type, Four Men

Beth Brown added: The only source I have for Barry County photos is Mildred Lander Roden's "Rodens and Related Lines. . ." This photo isn't in there, but there is one that matches one of the men.

The man sitting in the front appears identical to Elisha Roden - right down to how the hat sits on his head, the tie and the way it's tied, the clothing, and how the shirt collar sits against the vest/jacket.

The photo in the book is on page 8 and the caption: James Roden (1819-1899) and second wife Mrs. Mary A. (Miller) Roden. Standing: left, William Edward Roden, and Elisha Roden, (twin son who died young).

I've been going through the book and other papers I have to try to date the photo. My initial guess is late 1860s to early 1870s. When I get it narrowed down a bit, I'll let you know. Also I'm trying to figure out which of James Roden's older sons are likely the 3 other men in the photo.
Not Dated, no name
