Research Note Tracy F. and Sarah (Bride) (Scott) Wade Family of Barry Co., MO

Taken before Clarence died. He died Sept. 26, 1914.

According to his death certificate Tracy F. Wade and Sadie Scott were his parents. Sadie was born in IA and Tracy in PA. He was born Feb. 22, 1894 and was a single farmer, buried in Roller Cemetery.

Maggie Wade married Frank Laughlin and Mamie Wade married Peter Laughlin who was dead.

My grandfather, Joseph Wade's parents were Tracey F. Wade and Sarah (Bride) (Scott) Wade. After Sarah's mother married Chandler Scott, Sarah went by the name of Sarah Scott not Bride. Tracy had land down on Trent Creek near Washburn. They are buried in Roller Cemetery.

Tracy moved from Michigan to Missouri after 1882, and he married Sarah in 1885. Tracy's father was Harrison E. Wade. He is buried in Roller Cemetery, west of Washburn.

Tracy F. Wade's death certificate reads that Sadie A. was his wife's name. And according to it, he was born Jan. 11, 1857 in Erie, PA, and Harrison Wade was given as his father. He died Sept. 22, 1933 in Barry County, and Frank Wade was the informant. Burial was in Roller Cemetery, McDonald Co.
