| Research Note | Joe Stringer (at the time this picture was taken, he was Joe Stringatto, he hadn't "Americanized" his name yet), Anna Burris (daughter of Clay Dean Burris and Sarah (Leakey) Burris) and my dad, Herchel "Bud" Stringer (he's the baby) and Aaron Stringer. My father was born June 12, 1917 and he looks to be about 4-6 months old. It is interesting that his grandfather, Bartolomea Stringatto, died on the same day my dad was born. He is buried in Munsey Cemetery, one of the first stones you see going in the gate to the right "B. Stringer". |
