| Research Note | The pictures of George and Margaret were taken by Duncan Studios in Pierce City. There is no date on them but I would guess they taken in the warly 1880's.
Margaret Dunsmure Shiels, born in Scotland was the wife of George Shiels. She was born May 30, 1835 and died in Tacoma, Washington Sept. 26, 1911. After George died she moved to Washington where several of her daughters had moved. Her son, Andrew (my grandfather) had settled here in Washington. |
