Pilant, Mr. Hatcher, Frank Woods, Mrs. Lizzie (Nancy Erwin) Pilant, (Miss) Maggie Hatcher Research Note: Mrs. Lizzie (Nancy Erwin) Pilant (1864-1949) was the 3rd wife of J. F. Pilant. Lizzie was the daughter of George Washington Carver (G. W. C.) and Harriet (Ash) Erwin. Loretta Vinson added: This picture with John Fernando Pilant, and his wife Nancy, was before 1933. He was born Oct. 8, 1846 and died Jan 1, 1933 and is buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Barry Co., Exeter, MO. His wife Nancy Elizabeth (Erwin) Pilant is also buried there. Nancy was born June 12, 1864 and died Jan 21 1949. John was born in GA, the first and only child of Henderson Lewis Pilant and Harriet Bowels. Harriett died about 1848. Our family also called him Uncle Frank. |
