Grandpa Oakley almost always had a hat on. They were married in Dec. 18, 1912 in Barton Co., MO, and were together until Grandma's death in 1970. Grandpa was known around Washburn for his wonderful garden, especially his strawberries! Grandma grew beautiful flowers.
Their marriage license was in registered in Barton Co., MO. It reads that George's address was Garfield, AR and that Edna's was in Duenweg, Jasper Co., MO. |
