| Research Note | These are children of Harve Higgs of Shoal Creek vicinity of Barry County.
Front: Rev. Hugh Higgs, Hazel (Higgs) Overton (Mrs. Wayne Overton is buried in Maplewood in Exeter) Middle: Champ Clark Higgs and Ethel Higgs (Mrs. Joe Warren) both buried in Maplewood, and Rev. Jess Higgs and Edna Higgs (Mrs. Burl Tucker) not sure where they are buried. Information from Betty's Note: I bought a song book at Hugh's wife, Hazel (Erwin) Higgs' auction a few years back and this picture was in it. Hazel Erwin, wife of Hugh Higgs, died in 2000's. The date of this photo is about 1949, because Hazel Overton died Nov. 22, 1952. |
