| George Cottrell, Eliza Ellen (Cottrell) Clanton, and Cora Alexander (Blythe) Cottrell. It is believed that the photo was taken about 1925 in Barry County, MO. George and Eliza Ellen were the children of Isaac and Sarah (Reynolds) Cottrell. George was born Oct. 22, 1860 in Webster County, MO. He married Louisa Tennessee Winn. He died March of 1935 and is buried at Painter Cemetery. Eliza Ellen was born Feb. 11, 1867 in Webster County, MO. She married Andrew Jackson "Bud" Clanton on Dec. 27, 1883 in Barry County, MO. She died June 3, 1938 and is buried at Chelsea Cemetery, Chelsea, Rogers County, OK. Cora was born Dec. 16, 1866 in Ralls County, MO. Cora married 1st: George Blythe. She married 2nd: Thomas W. Cottrell (brother to George and Eliza Ellen) Feb. 8, 1893 in Shell Knob, Barry Co., MO. Thomas died 1899/1900. |
