Stefanie Forester writes: The comparison is to Frank James, brother of Jesse James. It is not suggesting that this man is Frank James but that he has some of the same features. It could perhaps be a relative of the James family. Another possible connection might be to the Younger family. Stefanie writes this: I have some photo software where I can manipulate photos. So I've taken the two people from the pictures and put them side by side in several ways. At the top of the enclosed photo is of the 2 photos side-by-side with lines drawn across both to indicate there the top and bottom of the head as well as the middle of the eye and bottom of the nose should be. Looks like they are a close match. Second row of pics are the two images side-by-side without the lines. Bottom row is taking each photo and imposing it over the other and adjusting the transparency. The 2 outside photos are at 100% for reference. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. 
Donna, I believe Stefanie took the Frank James picture and superimposed it over the camping picture. Here I've gone the other way. 5 different opacities with the camp picture on top. Another one to compare. You can see one change into the other. Gary Ball |
