| Research Note | Ruthie Walters Townsend, Face Book, Barry County Places & Things Remembered said that it was 1868 when it was established. This first Seamster family moved to the Benton county area came in 1866 and settled in Barry county, MO. just north of the state line. Williamson Seamster donated the land for the church and was the first pastor of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. |
